Fiest-y Lady
It was a very slooow day at work today, so I decided to catch up on my online reads. NY Times brought Leslie Feist to my attention (her video “1 2 3 4″), aka Feist, a Canadian songstress. I don’t have any pretentious sound offs about her music, except to say that I like it. Also, I just found out through Wikipedia, she was roommates with the raunchy, yet uber talented, electronic artist, Peaches (love her, by the way) and Gonzales. Anyway, enjoy the video!

Ooh La La!
I was stumbling and came across a photo (featured above) of Miss Gla'Gla®s (a macaroon ice cream masterpiece created by Pierre Hermé a pâtissier in Paris) at TasteSpotting.com.
These colorful treats were so intriguing that I needed to find more images, so I turned to flickr and found these lovelies below! (flickr source) Then, I had to know what they tasted like and through multiple reviews from avid traveling bloggers I found out that they are very sweet. So after sifting through more sites, I decided that I have to try them! Paris, here I come! (once I save enough money to get there) But if you are luckier than I and get a chance to visit Paris soon here is info for one of their locations:

New Living
I'm pretty sure that my newfound obsession with architecture, decor or swanky new abodes stems from the fact that I live in a shoe box in Manhattan. HOWEVER, my shoe box does have exposed brick walls, which in the city, is like winning $100. (I much rather have the money) But the dream continues...
